Dr. Jones I presume

Thats right “CriticalCareNow” - Dr. Jones described an avulsion Fx of the base of the 5th in 1902, he got this fracture while DANCING.  It has a good prognosis when treated non-operatively.  BUT the Jones Fx is often described as a fracture higher up with a worse prognosis (another fracture he described) and so for over 100 years when people talk about Jones Fx’s and Dancers Fx’s we never know which one they are talking about! So describe the fracture and leave Dr. Jones out of it or you will just confuse the hell out of us…..
