Thats right “CriticalCareNow” - Dr. Jones described an avulsion Fx of the base of the 5th in 1902, he got this fracture while DANCING. It has a good prognosis when treated non-operatively. BUT the Jones Fx is often described as a fracture higher up with a worse prognosis (another fracture he described) and so for over 100 years when people talk about Jones Fx’s and Dancers...
